Missed: Bold Doses

I got Jonny Couch's text that he was playing a mile down the street from me, so on an open Friday night I walked over to Alphaville on Wilson in Bushwick to check out the show.  I see Jonny enough that his songs are hits to me even the ones that are video only since his last album.   When I went over there, I was thinking I'd probably catch all 3 bands with a 7pm door but when I got there Bold Doses were already done.  The black line throught their name on the wall of the band lineup said so!  I did catch all of the New York Nightclubs whose frontman dressed like a cross between Kurt Cobain and the guy from Sparks.  The band itself were decent guitar/bass/drums song rock.
