I got a text a couple days ago from Jonny Couch that he was playing at Danger Danger on 232 Knickerbocker.  I live about a half hour walk away and I hadn't been there yet.  Not only did I get to catch up with Jonny and see his show but also got to finally check out Danger Danger which opened 2023.  The bartender was actually from Worcester!  My kinda place.

Jonny was mostly doing stuff I knew but he had a new one to close it. He steps away from the drum kit on stage to sing as frontman.  His band is a rotating cast of characters but the guitarist he had tonight has been gigging with him around 8 years.   After Jonny was a young bandleader named Boris Gachot who were doing an energetic Strokes-sounding sort of thing.
