Cosmic Sonic Rendezvous aka Kennyfest has officially kicked off.  Sphaèros will be finishing both nights on the "Sonic" stage at the Wood Shop portion of the festival tonight and tomorrow.  His band was Aqua Nebula Oscillator which had it's run from around 2008-15.  Sphaèros tried out different players this week and rumour has it White Hill was going to back him, but it was a single stand-up drummer for Sleepwalk.  He did have a blood spilling Possession sequence that came off spectacularly complete with a small charcoal grill for ritual flame effect.

I last saw Qiujiang Levi Lu a couple years ago opening for Khanate.  I was a little closer at Sleepwalk so I could see a bit more of what was being done with his small brass instrument (cornet?).  His laptop acts more as an effect pedal for horn and voice.  Although it seems fairly academic in the context of a psychedelic stoner rock fest, he fit well with Sphaèros as a musical prologue seemingly subdued in manner before the takeover of blood and flame, drum, guitar and text.
