Khanate was doing a 2-night stand a LPR this week and I won a pair of tickets to night 2.  Somehow I managed to never know anything about them for 25 years but they did have Stephen O'Malley from Sunn0))) in the band who I've seen plenty over the years. They also have Tim Wyskida drummer from the excellent 80's SST band Blind Idiot God.  Khanate has someone to yell over the drone and they don't have dry ice.  

Qiujiang Levi Lu opened with some kind of feedback emitting device that sounded somewhere between a harmonica and a theremin and manipulated accordingly with a laptop to provide laptop sounds.
