NYC is in the middle of a 2-day John Brannon holiday.  Night one was last night at TV Eye with Negative Approach. Tonight, Easy Action kicks off the night at Prospect Park having gotten on the Dinosaur Jr. tour.  Usually it's the other way around where NA gets on a big hardcore bill and Easy Action plays a club somewhere.  Versatile! 

Anyway NA played the hits you know and love as they have been doing since this reformation in 2006.  The openers were what you'd expect 3 openers for Negative Approach to be: hardcore to the max.  The Tarrys from Danbury CT had the most high kicking audience athletics.  I knew when someone was doing their stretches before they played it was going to be serious.  Anyway, there is a high-quality video of all 4 sets of this show someone uploaded linked above so check it out.  I just give you rough and dirty 30 second audience clips like I always do.  No Idols I have no idea where they are from but I'm pretty sure they are too young to be the band from Syracuse 20 years ago.  Who Pays are a new band from Brooklyn.
