Guitarist Graham Clise's long running band Annihilation Time came to town for the first time in God knows how long. Last time was rumored to be the Charleston on Bedford when they were having shows in the basement. Graham was in town recently for Stepmother so it seems like he was just around town. That's the way it goes!
I had a late meetup and got there standing outside waiting for Kenny coming from the other direction while Crux was playing so I only heard them outside for half their set. Kenny was inside! He beat me coming from the other direction as I was craining my neck 20 minutes in the direction of Anchored Inn while getting the text "what's the holdup? you said you were two buildings away!" True comedy. So I didn't have to pay 90 bucks or whatever the festival was charging for two days of street punk. There was a big backdrop of Bill Chamberlain of The Pist and The Dissidents who passed a couple days ago. So Annihilation Time played then we went back to Anchored after taking the amp heads back to the rehearsal space they borrowed. The very space I will be returning to at 3pm today.
