I was itching to see something last night, so I did the AI experiment dumping every possible show of Oh My Rockness and Pollstar into ChatGPT to see what it would tell me to see.  It told me the best possible band for me to see last night was Editrix.  I saw Massachusetts and the venue Cassette was a 20 minute walk to a place I hadn't been to yet so there you have it, a random night is born.

My favorite band of the night was the middle one, who were supposed to be the first one, called Rong.  They were more punk rock female yelling over some riffy punk.  The singer reminded me of the singer of an old NYC band called Yum Yum Tree and also a band I wrote about tomorrow called Sunshine Super Scum from Japan.  They got extra point for being spread over Worcester and Boston (or at least they said they were).

Editrix, the band recommended by the cyberworld, came on last.  They were from Western MA and had a record on the Exploding In Sound label called Editrix II: Editrix Goes To Hell.  They were less punk rock and more indie sludge with riffs and a female singer/guitarist.  I totally spaced that I saw them 8 months ago, I guess because Wendy Eisenberg had to sit down that show from some leg injury thing or something.

The first band on was a local duo Antinomie.  The drummer was good and the bass had 6 strings.  It was what you'd expect from that sort of arrangement.
