Somehow this was Homestead Records nostalgia week between this and Beth Kaplan from Salem 66 last Sunday.  Today's version,  lovingly curated by DotDash had Love Child, New Radiant Storm King and Phantom Tollbooth plus the guy that put them all out in the mid to late 80's and early 90's.  I had bought and enjoyed releases from all these bands back in that time period but I only remember seeing Love Child live.  I could have sworn I saw NRSK in Boston around the time they were on Axis records with Red Bliss before Homestead put them out, but all I can remember is missing a big trip to Northampton where other people saw them.  However, I've seen Matt Hunter so many times in "real life" over the years that I suppose it doesn't matter.  Phantom Tollbooth had an EP I love during my mid 80's radio years particularly "Jack Of All Phobias" which lo and behold was their set closer tonight.  My Love Child favorite two was "Know It's Alright" which they did and "He's So Sensitive" which I think was skipped unless they played it before I walked into the room.  Gerard kicked off the night with a bit of instrumental celebrity guitar chording that went on for two "songs" even though he threatened 9 or 10.  That was not possible with three bands to go since there was a strict 10:30 curfew for the Donna Summer Disco party that took over the club at 11.
