Missed: King Parrot

The 2nd Acid Bath reunion show in Brooklyn came 2 weeks after the first, hastily added when the first one sold out in advance.  This time the opener was Pentagram, Bobby Liebling's long running heavy hard rock band.  This current lineup joined Bobby just last year.  Henry Vasquez has been touring drummer for Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan and The Skull as well as Blood On The Sun. Guitarist Tony Reed is from Mos Generator and Hot Spring Water as is bass player Scooter Haslip.

There has been quite a bit of controversy with Pentagram between their meme blow up and subquent cancelation of their Australian/New Zealand tour due to resurfacing of old news with Bobby.  He paid his debt to society and hit the road, but the court of public opinion is an odd one.  Odder still is that because of said meme blowup the roar of the crowd has more shrieking women than your typical heavy hard rock band that Pentagram never had before.

Both bands were loud and proud and doing their thing.  Acid Bath are settled in and Pentagram are keeping on.
