Missed: Manat
 

I was curious to see Japanese thrash band Sabbat on their 40th anniversary tour so I went over to my local, TV Eye.  Whatever tickets they held onto for day of the show, if any, were long gone when I got there, so I grabbed a beer and plotted my exit.  After Manet played, someone I see around town was saying to me "wasn't Manet great?"  I couldn't tell ya, I had no ticket to get in.  But somehow Frank had a friend from Denmark whose flight got messed up and sent him his tickets.  So I got Frank a beer and a shot to thank him for the freebee and saw the rest of the show.

Stress Angel were decent thrash.  They have 6 years under their belt and a couple albums, so they have that level of seasoning.  Sabbat were one of those "sea of  phone" bands I'm starting to notice more and more in small clubs when the artist is of a certain (grey) vintage.  I wasn't able to get past the wall of people in the front 2/3 of the room, but that was ok, I could see enough and get my allotment of clips n' snaps for you dear reader.
